Introduction to Architecture class, both international and regular program, had a visit to big architecture consultant PTI Architects at Wisma Metropolitan Jakarta.
We saw the director's presentation explaining some projects , met the senior architects in which one of them is our campus' alumni and he's so friendly and gave us (the teaching assistants) good point of view about what we supposed to do in facing the real world after graduation hihihi
Well ya, in our conversation, Teressa and Richie suggested me to enter big scale consultants dealing with commercial projects. and I was before, as they knew. They said that the image of my architecture trace is money creating-architecture. DID YOU MEAN that I am Materialistic? ohohoho.
The senior architect recommended us to at first try little scale consultant designing residential projects. You can learn more there, he said. But there's no problem if we want to get involved in big company like theirs as long you as can fulfill the minimum requirements.
You can't judge you are good at it or no and it is good for you or not. All you have to do is just try it all. Then you'll know, when you have all experienced, what is your interest, where do you master at, etc.
Yes I do know, but it's still a big mystery then, not more than 3 or 4 more months ahead, I should face it. Think of it. and decide. In my family, it is now the time you try to create money yourself, upssss :P hheheheh
It's not the point anyway, just do what you want to do. do what I want to do.
and do it with passion. you can do everything well and happily if you are passionate with it.

Anyhow, talking about today. I experienced the public transportation as usual. the 02 city car, 102 depok-tanah abang stopped at ragunan, got the busway to dukuh atas, transitted, continued to karet kuningan in the morning. and back to depok, with 19 kopaja to blok M but stopped in senayan waiting for 143 from grogol to our final destination: Depok.
In the 143 I had a veryyyyy dashing chit-chatting with Teressa, but the street singer sang several songs near us and he was a little bit annoying actually. In the end of his performance, he angrily told us that we were so noisy, maybe we interfered his concentration or else. Don't care. hehehehhe PEACE :)
