Can You Keep a Secret? and Remember Me?

She gave me a gift discount voucher at times bookstore which will be valid only until the end of this month, that is why then I run to the nearest one to use it hehe. And to follow the success of me like The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella, these are what I finally have just picked up:

Can You Keep a Secret? and Remember Me?

I hope I will have more chances so I can be Kinsella enough! ;p
ps. Mother screams: "Oh another books!! Stop spending your money on that thing unless you are done with those unread ones (pointing to the table) Look, we already have no more space!"

Pasti Bisa!

One of my great lecturers in campus ever said this:
"Kalau orang lain bisa, saya juga pasti bisa! Paling tidak saya punya tempat untuk bertanya."
Every time I feel that I'm about to lose trust to my capacity, I always spell these words repeatedly, so that I can have my self-confidence convinced back. I know, I am (trying to be) strong and smart, and I will always (try to be).

cheers! :D

Emosi Jiwa

Yana Yulio's Emosi Jiwa is another song my friend Vicky had popularized among us and was usually sung while we're working in the studio! When we got caught on a stressful situation and felt like cursing, we finally came out with this :))

YANA YULIO - EMOSI...

Oh, these all make me miss him so much (hahaha) :))

Tiada Pernah (repost) :D

As I've ever mentioned here before. The song Biru by Vina Panduwinata always succeed in bringing me back to Architectural Studio #3 time. Had just read a funny post from one of my closest friend (even facebook application said so ;p) and I really feel like writing the same thing, hehehe.

We have somehow interpreted the song wrong then because what it really means is she there has never been happy as that time she sings, but we made it sounded like WE NEVER FELT HAPPY anyway. As she wrote on her posting, we only sang the first sentence tiada pernah aku bahagia, and then stop. :)) but we really didn't feel happy at the time we sang it because we were pitifully under-pressure hahaha.

I suddenly remember our another favorite song, so just every after anyone asked a question ended with a WHY?, we would spontaneously together sing:
why does the sun go on shining?
why does the sea rush to shore?
(the End of the World by Skeeter Davis)

ps: Guys, would you like to share other songs that we usually sing during that miserable studio time? :D I'm kind of desperately missing those moments and now I can't stop laughing when relive it all :)))

the First Man in the Class

Maybe I haven't written much yet in this blog about my college classmates (I somehow do agree to the way Richie named it), because of so many things beside that I don't find the right time, I also don't have special feeling about this (If I must say, I'm sorry; then I would).
even this one is the only photo that possibly had everyone of us captured in it. taken from here.

But now, I sense that now is the good time; they are still my friends even not in the circle. :)
Yesterday, one of my inner-circle friends (elo lagi, elo lagi be yang masup sini!) sent an email that bring a veryyy surprising good news about Roby (before he himself sent the news to the milist), that he, the politest and and respectful one, is getting married this weekend! So happyyyyyyyyy to hear that Rob!

It is still clear in my memory back to the time we were on the same team of Metode dan Teori Perancangan Arsitektur class and chose Dragonfly club as the object for space survey assignment, hahaha. And I still remember when she put liquor on your midnight ice cream while we were busy on making the powerpoint slide show in her house for the next morning's presentation (oh such a jahiliyah time, menjebak orang lain pun May!!)

Well, now I would like to say Congratulation Roby, for me you are the nicest man in the class :) I hope that you and your wife can build a sakinah mawaddah warrahmah family till death do you both apart. Hope your special day be everything you dreamed of and may your new life will always be filled by happiness :)

So, class? who's next? ;p

Hwaaa

I AM HOMEEE!! Ohhh I desperately miss blogging so muchhhhhhh (as if people would notice, hehee) Hello, I've just came back from a work trip to this place, and actually to this town :). It's really nice to meet and have discussions with some local architects and government implementing agencies who have been my long-distance research partners I usually contacted just by phone and emails. So happy knowing that they all are glad and enthusiast about my visit. :)
Really miss my mother now and need to talk to her soon, so this post will be quick:
Before the flight is going to take off, I enter periplus bookstall at the airport without any purposes (I mean, books :p) But, I'm sorry Grandma *(for being such an easy-money thrower :{ again and again) I really really can't stand this, the devil inside of me is stronger than I could realize :D

Green is the author of The Beach House I have been wanting for so long.:P

Make a Wish

Yesterday, when we were waiting for the group members to be complete; for about three hours, Coraline and I walked around in Plaza Indonesia, EX, and Sarinah Thamrin (for those who waited at the outside of Erasmus Huis, hei guys, smile:D at least you saved your legs, because Coraline's and mine are about to be cramped because of these shopping malls hehehe)

When we were in the Kinokinuya bookstore, a marketing staff came and gave each of us a little memo where we can write any of our wishes and then hang it on a plastic tree near the entrance door; this actually should be a secret, but Coraline has read mine anyway after I put it on the tree! hahaha *HEH CAL, jangan nyontek dong! :))

well OK, I think there's no need to keep it secret anymore, so this is what I wrote there:
"I hope I could improve my career stage :)"
ahahaha ma men, so sorry for this ridiculous wish, I know I am never really well inspired in this make-a-wish thing, hehee. Lately, I often ask myself about me having career as a doctor; how could I be so blind when I was just a little child to at least look at the possibilities of me being a doctor in my future, how could I be so foolish for ever thinking that there's no pride there's no challenge there's no COOL word to you a doctor whose mother a doctor. Hahahaha, what a stupid kid ya!

disclaimer: that I want to be a doctor is NOT the point of this post! I never regret the decision I have took about my future path when I was in the crossroad at that long time ago. Now, I love my current life with the career path and all the people I know today :) Anyway about the wish: let me make it a little bit groovier :D

So Happy to-Gather :)

Heyyyyyyyyy Maybelle my darling..:)
on this July 2nd 2009, I'd like to say
HAPPY BIRTHDAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! LOVE YOU!!
I love Pisa Cafe too, so mature ya!:P

My Daily Routes

I am here already again, 07.00am, at the office, alone *hehe*
I live in an urban fringe located at the edge of Jakarta city, (may I hope you still can guess it? haha, oh okey well, Depok isn't that famous ya?:p). And on weekdays I go to work being one of the million commuters since my office is located at the well-known district of Jakarta, Senayan. Sure you can imagine how it is going; I should face a superrrrrrrrrrrrrr-crazy traffic jam along the way, snatch away among the other commuters to get at least a little space in the train, run chasing the bus (even in heels!).
Until today I write this, I still feel happy about it (and I just want myself to be an anti-complaining person ;p). It is because even though I need almost 2 or 3 hours to get the office and apply the same way to go home, the time that we think just fly away that way is actually my most precious time in the day, where, I can finish reading book to book without feeling bored or angry with this stressful condition, and I can take the time to sleep! ahahahaha well I'm now an expert of sleeping in the public transportation, even when I don't get any seats. It is good, isn't it?;D
I now will tell you possible routes I took, hihi..
from Depok bus terminal to Senayan.
#1 05.45am: 143 Bianglala Bus (Depok-Fatmawati-Grogol) or P48 Steady Safe Bus (Depok-Mampang-Grogol) or 54 Mayasari Bakti Bus (Depok-Pancoran-Grogol) stopped exactly in front the office building.
#2 06.00am: Depok-Jakarta Economy AC train stopped at Cawang train station >>> P6 Mayasari Bakti Bus (Kp.Rambutan-Grogol) stopped in front of my office building.
#3 06.35am: Depok Express AC train heading to Tanah Abang train station >>> angkot 09 (Tanah Abang-Kebayoran Lama) stopped at Slipi under-flyover >>> walk about 10minutes to the office.
#4 Deborah 77 (Depok-Lebak Bulus) or PO Deborah AC (Depok-Kalideres) stopped at Poins Square >>> Kopaja B86 (Kota-Pondok Indah-Lebak Bulus) stopped in front of the office building but I don't like this route because I can't sleep in Deborah 77 because it's nonAC! hehehe morning sleep is important you know ;p

and routes I could take to go home are
#1 143 Bianglala Bus (Depok-Fatmawati-Grogol) or P48 Steady Safe Bus (Depok-Mampang-Grogol) or Patas AC 81 (Depok-Kalideres) or 54 Mayasari Bakti Bus (Depok-Pancoran-Grogol) to Depok Terminal Bus.
#2 Walk to Slipi under-flyover >> angkot 09 (Kebayoran Lama-Tanah Abang) stopped at Tanah Abang >>> 04.52pm Tanah Abang-Bogor Express AC stopped at Depok Baru or 05.17pm Tanah Abang-Bogor Express AC stopped at Depok Lama or 05.30pm Tanah Abang-Depok Lama Economy AC train stopped at Depok Baru or 06.35pm Tanah Abang-Bogor Express AC stopped at Depok Lama.
#3 Kopaja B86 (Kota-Pondok Indah-Lebak Bulus) stopped at Poins Square >>> PO Deborah AC (Kalideres-Depok) or Deborah 77 (Lebak Bulus-Depok)
#4 P6 Mayasari Bakti Bus (Kp.Rambutan-Grogol) stopped at Cawang train station >> 06.00pm Jakarta-Bogor Economy AC train stopped at Depok Baru.
#5 Airport Bus (Cengkareng-Lebak Bulus) >>> Deborah P77 (Lebak Bulus-Depok). But this one is occasional because airport bus is soo rareeee!huh
#6 49 Bus AC(Tanjung Priok - Blok M) stopped at Blok M bus terminal >>> Kopaja S63 (Blok m - Depok)
#7 take anything that could bring me to Citi office tower Sudirman, wait for my big brother in front of it, and then sit for almost an hour in his motorcycle (so every time "gue nebeng pulang ya Da!" happens, it means he will yell several time during the ride "heh!jangan tidur lo!bangun bangun!" hahahha I am sorry, I think this is now my natural :)

ps: Just want to share a little, the point why I am happy about this coming-very-early-in-the-morning thing is because I can play with the internet to do facebooking or blogging before the works start ;p

Now, I'm going to work ya!:D

This pattisier and chocolatier shop finally opened their new branch in our town (hope you can guess where it is ;p cause I feel just there's no need to mention it hihi). So then my best friends and I planned to drop by there just to have a little celebration for our new freshman after the final presentation of her bachelor thesis today :)
Congratulation, Richie :)
