An Architect, Aren't You?

One of my colleagues from the office without any serious purpose asked me a casual question that shocked me at the moment. "Do you still want to be an architect?" It's everybody's question ever since I joined this current office, by the way.

I can't sleep tonight. No no, not that I think of that question so seriously and it has made me stressed therefore I can't close my eyes. It's my weekend syndrome, remember? Hehe. So then I fell for hours in front of the desktop browsing about everything (oh forget that disgusting scandalous Indonesian superstars' porn video! I am not interested), then I realized I have been leaving too far from the architecture world. How could I don't know what's the latest hot news lively discussed by the professionals? What's this Shanghai Expo? When is the next FK TKI-MAI event? Or even is it the life choice of being an architect still warmly discussed in the mailing list? Okey, I admit it, I still stalk sometimes, but the fact that I never put any intense thoughts to those issues, made me feel so odd. I also admit that I am still thrilled seeing nice and progressive architectural designs by both international and local architects who actually have been my research partners for these times.

And then that familiar question comes again from inside of me, "Want you?" I know my answer below must be sounded so weird and funny, but to be honest, I am like, to yell loudly.. "YES I DO!" Oh C'mon! I've ever involved in this design thing when I was in school. :P
