After an intriguing book I've read previously, I am now very keen on more knowledge to feed my enthusiasm of knowing more about the life and times of the Caliphate history. And how can I not recognize that my mom actually has already had some good sources of it in our library? Oh no.
Now I am confused.. between these two? What should I read first?
Mother of the Believers by Kamran Pasha (translated into Bahasa Indonesia as Humaira, Ibunda Orang Beriman) or Umar Bin Al Khathab The Conqueror by Abdurrahman Asy Syarqawi? Anyway, I actually have a big question in mind, why does the revival idea of Caliphate empire referred to as a dream for the future of the world? Hmm.

2 floats:
Assalaam Alaikum Mustika,
Those seem like really interesting reads! Please let me know how they are. I'm always looking for a good book to pick up, although university definitely makes that kind of difficult.
As for your question, to the best of my knowledge I believe that as per the Hadith of the Prophet (SAW) the last Caliphate will be that of Isa (AS) close to the end of times.
(I could be wrong though so I'll definitely check on that and get back to you).
waalaikumussalam Sara,
insyAllah, I really cant wait until I finish them too..
and oh.. thank you for the explanation, surely I will also check it myself. thank you so much sis! :)
Good luck with the university :)
