Had to inspect a renovation house of an aunt in the morning and went out for a lunch with my mother then, just the two of us. :)
Eating out with family members always reminds me to our old activity in my childhood, when my late father was still here with us, that is. Papa papa I really miss miss you. Miss those precious times of me becoming a little princess of your own, and it never felt like a make-believe story, Daddy, it was real, enjoyable memories. ;')
And now I am curios to know.. what's your beautiful memory from the past, guys?

6 floats:
MashaAllah those lamps are exquisite. =)
And may Allah (SWT) have mercy on your beloved late father and grant him a place in Jannah, Ameen.
I loved my time as a carefree child playing in the park with my friends. But while those days are certainly missed and were relished, the experiences of young adult life will be remembered just as fondly, iA!
My dear Mustika darling, you are so sweet, I love the way you refer to your dad. I am sure he was equally proud to have had a daughter like you. *hugs* It is wonderful how events or activities in the future spark beautiful feelings and scents of the past.I just love that. Sometimes when I smell fresh milk, i remember kinder garden days. My most favourite memory of my past is not one particular one but just every moment that has my family in it back then and till now.
just like you, most of the beautiful memories from the past would be the times i spent with my late dad. he was my best friend. i know most girls would say that their mom is their best friend but mine was my dad. i used to tell him everything. and when he passed on, i was all lost and alone.
even though i'm already married and i still have my mom and family, i lost the only person i can open up to and seek for advice and answers.
the most memorable memories would be of wedding day. i remember my dad looking so happy despite being very sick, battling cancer in the last 2 months of his life. i'm his 1st born and was the 1st of his children to get married so he was so happy and proud. i was too cause it wouldn't be the same without him. i miss him. i do. every single day.
but all the beautiful memories also reminds me of the one i wish i can forget. it's the memory of the day he took his last breath. i was there right by his side when he was taken back to see his creator. it was really painful to see him gone right before my eyes. as much as i want him to be free of his sufferings and sickness, i also didn't want to let him go. i hope he is now in peace. ameen =)
Love the orchids =)
Gosh I can't possibly pick one beautiful memory. Hm, let me see. I will always remember the times my dad would take me around town... either to his favourite bakery or to a theme park, just me and him. There were times when my Mum, brother and sister were too busy so my Abah would make sure he'd spend time with me.
MashaAllah SubhanAllah LOVE LOVE LOVE the orchids!!
I am not a huge fan of cattellya becoz it is super duper HOT in Padang, but putting then in a ROOM!!
