The Eternal Sunshine of Our World

There was a day around eleven years ago when the worst day happened in her life, when a best man, the one she put trust her life and her three children on to, was gone back to where he firstly belongs.. That when her husband was taken by his Creator didn't weakened her, either way it made her even stronger than everyone could imagine. See how she then proved it to her family that she made it. For me, she has shone the best sun every morning I wake up. She has become the lightest moonlight that accompany me every night I go to sleep. She has provided me with the most wonderful brothers I could ever have. My mother becomes the meaning of my entire world.

Some people said that we live with so much fortune after those first hardest days, looking to the fact that we have never been faced to hardships in the things each of us did. Late daddy left us with enough money and good property business to make a living for the future. But no one said that raising three children alone is easy, so did my mother. But she had passed it through anyway, for God had given her with a very light-hearted son (my older brother), an intelligent boy (my younger brother), and a brave-yet rebellious daughter like me. (:P)

God did give hardships as life trials to us, but my mother always said that we should be brave to fight against those difficulties, because after every hardship there is easiness. That's how she lived her life, always feel blessed for every circumstances she was placed in, always thanking God for every thing we've had and have been given. Don't ask too much, but think of being more grateful by sharing our happiness with others. Very simple, isn't it? My mother is always that sincerely modest woman, and it makes her tough. Alhamdulillah :)

Now you are one year older, Mama. I can't believe I write this post again this soon, because the post for your last year's birthday was just like yesterday. I'm sorry that I still can't be a best daughter for an excellent mother like you. Dear Allah, please always take care of my mother and shower her with more blessings today and the days ahead. Make her happy, ease her in every thing she does, and surround her with much more barokah. Amiin..

el7umdulilla, how wonderful is your mum's bravery and strength. YOu so right, its not easy raising 3 children on your own and she did it showing her courage and determination. Now I know where you get it from. Mum is really lucky to have a great daughter like you, who appreciates her. Happy birthday to mum! Hope she had a great day with you :) love

Assalaam Alaikum Mustika,

This was a beautiful post, MashaAllah. Both very touching and a much needed reminder that we should all be immensely thankful for our sweet, brave and overall amazing mothers who have raised us to be the people we are today.

May Allah bestow His mercy and blessings upon them always, Ameen.
