The Orange Girl

This is one of my favorite books I've read some times ago. Jostein Gaarder is the author whose thought provoking fairy-tale romance writing style with philosophical and life-questioning themes. The Orange Girl is one of his masterpiece. I didn't really remember the details of the story, yet I am not even good at writing book reviews, so here I am not going to make one but look! Here are some awesome and wondrous covers of it printed in almost 40 languages around the world. Double awesome. :D

PS. What's your all-time favorite book? :)

Dear calosa, yes I borrowed this book from you, but the local version's cover is still nice, I think. :D

and the answer for your question is, I was amazed by how Gaarder wrote about someone's life journey very beautifully.. it actually could be only like ordinary romance story how a man met his love in such a poetic way of telling.
hahaha, have you got my answer?

your life can be a beautiful story of your own, right from your point of view.. :D

any good thing about this book is I learn about the meaning of the life and its past, know more about the Hubble telescope and the big bang theory. :D :P

ooh really? i thought you like books full of images instead of just lines and phrases, maybe you forgot, so i'm willing to give you a hand for you to remember "candy-candy" :)

@arik: haha, candy candy was my favourite character back when I was only a child, yet still is. I still adore her for all her smiles and spirits in struggling to face her cruel world. haha

Jostein gave me more or less the same, something simple to be learned. hahah niat abis ni cuy gue balesnyeee :))
